Three special events this weekend in Toronto will involve road closures.
   
Word on the Street will close Queen's Park-Queen's Park Crescent in both directions from Bloor Street to College Street today and tomorrow.
   
A series of road closures will take place in the Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue area today for the Tour de Black Creek Bike Race for Kids.
   
And Church Street, from Alexander Street to Carlton Street, will be closed tomorrow for an Aids Event and Walk.

The Toronto Waterfront Kite Festival is taking place on Saturday at Woodbine Beach.

The Fall Home Show is taking place all weekend at Exhibition Place (the Scotiabank Better Living Centre).

The St Lawrence Community Recreation Centre is holding a 20th anniversary event on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

About 3,000 runners and spectators are expected at the Run For Your Lives 5K race in Oro. Competitors run an obstacle course while being chased by others dressed as zombies.
