Canada's Wonderland ride closed over safety concerns
If you were hoping squeeze in a couple more rides on the Windseeker at Canada's Wonderland before the weather turns really cold, you're out of luck.
Cedar Fair, which owns Wonderland, has closed the ride at 6 of their parks.
On Windseeker, riders are hoisted up 300ft in swing-style seats & spun around.
Earlier this week, 20 people on a Windseeker in southern California were stuck at the top of the ride for for 3 & half hours. It was the 2nd time this month that particular ride had malfunctioned.
Cedar Fair is looking into what's caused the Windseeker's safety system to automatically shutdown.
Cedar Fair bought the Windseeker ride from a Dutch company & first opened them in 2011.
