Thousands expected at AIDS Walk
Thousands of people are expected along Church St today to help raise money for AIDS.
The Scotiabank AIDS Walk For Life starts at 2 p.m. at Church St and Carlton St.
Organizers are hoping to raise $500,000.
Even if you're not registered to walk you can still take part in the event. There is a beer garden and live music starting at 11:30 a.m.
Drivers should be aware of road closures involved with the event.
Church Street, from Alexander St to Carlton St, will be closed in both directions from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
