Mississauga Man Faces Charges in Attempted Abduction
A 46 year old Mississauga man is facing a slew of charges in an alleged attempted abduction of a child.
Toronto Police say on Saturday morning around 10:15, a two year old girl was riding her bike, with her father walking alongside her, at Millwood Park near Bloor Street West.
Cops say the man drove up to the girl, stopped his car and began yelling explicit comments, with his arms extended.
The girls father, along with the help of a number of citizens held the man until police arrived.
David Briggs from Mississauga is charged with Attempted Abduction of a person under 14, sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching, assault with intent to resist arrest, possession of cocaine and possession of a controlled substance,
He was in court on Sunday.
