The Special Investigations Unit has been called in after a guy Toronto Police were chasing was hit by a car.

Police went out to Eglinton Ave W & Dufferin St Sunday morning after a call came in about a man with a knife on a TTC bus.

After what the SIU calls "an interaction" with police, a 24-year-old man ran off.  The cops chased him to Eglinton Ave W & Northcliffe Blvd where he was hit by a car.  The man broke his leg & was taken to Sunnybrook.
