UPDATE: Sex Assault at Gunpoint in North York
A frightening attack in North York has police searching high and low for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman.
It was 9:30 Sunday morning when a 20 year old woman was walking her dog in a park, near Finch Avenue East and Don Mills.
A man started talking to her, then pointed a handgun into her ribcage, and directed her to walk to a secluded area. She was then pushed to the ground, and sexually assaulted. According to police, the suspect attempted to assault the victim a second time, but when she refused, he left.
She returned home and called 9-1-1, then taken to hospital.
Police say the man is described as black and in his 20's. He had braided hair, tattoos on both arms, and wearing a black t-shirt, with jeans.
Police believe him to be armed and dangerous and urge the public to not approach him.
