A motorcycle rider has been killed in a collision at Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue.

Toronto Police got reports of the crash at 2:55pm Friday.

Authorities say the motorcycle hit a pole but are not able to confirm another vehicle was involved.

Its still not clear yet how the crash happened, who the victim is or whether anyone else was hurt.

Traffic in the area is being diverted as police investigate.
