At least one person is dead after a the crash of a small planeoutside Ottawa.

The aircraft is said to have exploded as it went into went down near Calabogie, about 2 hours from the capital.

The pilot was reportedly the only person aboard.  It isn't clear where the plane was headed or why it crashed.
