Two pedestrians have been injured in an accident at the intersection of Hwy 27 and Steeles Ave.

Police says a woman and a 14-year-old girl were hit by a transport truck.

The teenager has head and pelvic injuries.

The victims' injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

Toronto Police's traffic services department has been called in to investigate.
