Collision investigators with Halton Police are looking into a deadly crash that happened in Milton during Friday evening rush hour.

Around 5:30pm, a car and a recycling truck collided on Appleby Line, just north of Derry Road.

One person died at the scene police have no said whether that person was in the truck or the other vehicle.

Authorities have yet to release more details.
