Health Canada: Kid Travel Bed Unsafe For Infants
If you have one of these to help your child sleep, you'll want to know about this new Health Canada warning.
The KidCo Peapod, marketed as an indoor/outdoor travel bed for infants, isn't safe for your child if they are very young. Health Canada has received two reports of infants rolling over and getting their faces trapped between the mattress and the side of the product, posing a suffocation hazard.
Parents are being advised to stop using the KidCo PEAPODTM for infants under one year of age.

The safest place for an unsupervised infant to sleep alone is in a crib that meets current Canadian safety regulations.
Health Canada is currently in discussions with the company about how it will address the safety concerns related to the use of this product.
