A 49 year old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was struck in the head and face with a crowbar.

It was around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning when he was attacked on Michelle Drive in Vaughan. It's near Weston Road and Highway 7.

He was rushed to Sunnybrook with a head wound and an obstructed airway.

Police say one man has been taken into custody, but no word on the motive for the attack, or charges.
