It could have been a much worse outcome at the Erin Mills Town Centre Tuesday night.

Two men, one with a gun, robbed a Peoples Jewellers store and opened fire. Luckily, no one was hurt.

It happened just before 8:30 p.m.

Cst. George Tudos with Peel Police says they are searching for two black men, but there's no other information. They will be going through surveillance tape in the hopes of identifying them.

Tudos says they did make off with merchandise but they don't know just how much the goods were worth yet.
