Prescription Narcotics Addiction Treatment Program Expands

The province is pumping $15 million dollars into programs to treat prescription drugs.

Health Minister Deb Matthews underlines Ontario has the highest prescription addiction rate in the country, between two and four times more than other provinces.

Most of the funding will be going towards helping mothers and pregnant women. However,  Matthews says a portion of the funds will be helping aboriginal communities.

While the province is already monitoring prescription drug use, this will will expand now expand it to monitor ERs and public health units.

    its a joke single mothers ? my school hood friend died from them things he aint a single mother peter greg micheal scotty all died from scipt abuse the dam things are been sold for 400 at reserves come on friggin wake up leave the pretty little girls alone . these single mothers wanted to get pregnant !!!!!!!!!!!get your head out of your buts !!!!!!!!!!!!! the biggest problem we have is that you listen to idiot advisors and groups
