Peel Police have confirmed to Newstalk1010, that what could be a body has been found in Professor's Lake in Brampton.

Cops haven't been able to confirm yet, it's the body of a human, but they've called for the coroner's office to come and investigate.

The find was made by a passerby, who noticed something floating in the water just before 12 noon on Monday.

Professor's Lake is in the Bovaird Drive and Torbram Road area.
