VIDEO: Police Look For Suspect Vehicle in Scarborough Murder
Toronto police are looking for three suspects in connection with the murder of a 31-year-old man who found dead in an industrial unit in Scarborough last Wednesday.
Police were called to a unit at 1970 Ellesmere Rd after Julian Richard Lee was found bound and beaten to death.
Investigators believe that Lee was driving a white Mercedes SUV with a woman at approximately 1 p.m., and went to the unit in what appears to have been a pre-arranged meeting.
When they arrived at the unit, a red SUV was parked near the rear bay door of the address. One of the suspects is said to have met the victim and the two walked into the address using the rear service door.
Police says two men then left the building, one entered a red SUV and drove off, while the second man approached the woman and directed her to go inside the building.
Once the woman was inside the building, she was bound along with the victim.
Police say the woman was not physically injured, however the victim sustained fatal injuries.
Two men were seen leaving the building a short time after.
Police have released security images of the red SUV and are asking anyone who recognizes it to call them.
Police say the man driving the SUV is described as having a light-black complexion, 30-35, with a thin build.
The two other suspects are described as:
#1: black, 170-190 lbs., 5'10", wearing a black baseball cap and dark shirt
#2: dark complexion, 35-40, 6'3", 200 lbs., and was wearing a black jacket with hood
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
