A 16 year old girl is dead in Etobicoke, after falling from a 14th floor balcony on Mabelle Avenue.

The Province's Special Investigations Unit is trying to figure out what happened.

What we do know, is that police were called just after midnight Tuesday morning to the building at 52 Mabelle Avenue.

When they arrived, they found a girl hanging from the balcony.

As police tried to talk with her from an adjacent balcony, the girl fell.
