Suspect Sought In String of Robberies in Cabbagetown

Police have released surveillance images of a suspect wanted in a string of robberies in Cabbagetown.

In one incident dating back to September, a man blocked an elderly woman while she tried to exit an elevator. He demanded money, then took her wallet out of her purse. This was inside an apartment building in the Wellesley and Bleeker street area, at 10 a.m.

Police believe he has done this to at least, three other women in the same area. In all cases, confronting the women in the buildings they live in.

He's described as black, 5’10" with a thin build, short black hair and no facial hair...he was last seen wearing all black clothing a green baseball hat. The suspect was last seen wearing black shoes, black pants, a black zip-up hoodie, a green baseball hat with a white symbol on the front and red underneath the brim.

    CFRB is now hiding behind "check our website for a picture" so that they can be politically correct by not mentioning he's black.
    By omitting any description they are limiting potential witnesses who may not jump right on the internet.
