A woman in her 30's has been rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries, after being struck by a streetcar on St Clair, east of Oakwood.

Toronto EMS say the woman was struck at the corner of St Clair and Oakwood around 3:20 on Thursday afternoon.

EMS couldn't say whether or not the woman was pinned under the vehicle.

They also couldn't comment on whether or not she had vital signs on the way to hospital, but could only say the injuries were life threatening.
