City: No to bulls on Bay St
The bulls won't get a run of the financial district after all.
The city has put the kibosh on a plan to let 6 900kg bulls run down Bay St from Wellington to King on Tuesday to kick off the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
Toronto's manager of animal services, says it would've violated city bylaws.
Elizabeth Glibbery says it also would've been set "a significant and dangerous precedent in respect to prohibited animal use in the city."
But organizers say they'd taken all the steps to keep the stunt safe & not to cause stress on the bulls.
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair runs November 2-11. The bulls will be featured in a rodeo November 4th.
