TTC is Ready For Sandy
The TTC isn't anticipating any Subway disruptions because of the weather tomorrow.
However, director of communications Brad Ross it's always good to have alternate routes in mind. He says they're monitoring the situation closely but doesn't believe flooding will be an issue at union or any other subway stations.
However, they are ready to react if there's flooding or downed trees and hydro wires.
As for streetcars, Ross says they have sand ready to dry up tracks.
He says if you do take public transit, be prepared for a slow commute tomorrow.
