A building on Queen Street West sustained major damage in a 3-alarm fire early Tuesday morning.

Fire officials tell us the call came in around 12:40 to 369 Queen Street W. near Peter Street. Intially, reports were that the fire was at the former location of Silver Snail Comics next door.

No one was injured, however fire says the roof of the building collapsed onto the second floor and the front of it also partially collapsed and it may not be structurally safe.

The Ontario Fire Marshall's office has been called into investigate the cause of the blaze.

Queen Street West is closed between John and Spadina.
