Province Says ER Wait-Times Improving
With less than three months to go in his time as Premier, Dalton McGuinty is flexing the Liberal government's muscles.
Today, he was at St. Michael's Hospital to announce ER wait-times have improved by 1.2 hours in the province. McGuinty says 86 per cent of ER patients are being treated within target times set up by each individual hospital.
He underlined how his government studied wait-times when they came into office in 2003.
McGuinty also revealed they're pumping $94 million this year into reducing wait-times even more.
