Two Separate Stabbings in The City Send Two to Hospital.
Police were busy dealing with a couple violent altercations on Thursday, both ending with someone being stabbed.
The first happened in the Markham Road and East Park area, and started as a fight, but ended with a teen stabbed in the chest. Toronto EMS say the boy is about 17 years old and suffered a punctured lung, and was taken to hospital.
He is expected to live.
Across the city on Royal York and Bloor, a man was trying to prevent being robbed, when he got stabbed three times in the leg.
He was taken to hospital, but police say his injuries are minor.
In both cases, police have not arrested any suspects.
