Nighisti Semret's former employers will honour her life with a memorial concert & fundraiser Friday night.

The Eritrean refugee was stabbed to death in a Cabbagetown alley last month on her way home from her shift as an overnight cleaner at the Delta Chelsea Hotel.

Friday night's memorial concert is being co-hosted by the hotel & Andorra Building Maintenance Ltd at the Delta Chelsea's Monarchs Pub.  It starts at 8pm.

Money raised will help pay for travel costs for Semret's family & to take her body back to Africa.

Toronto Police are still looking for Semret's suspected murderer.  They believe he lives in Cabbagetown & may walk with a limp.

Homicide detectives have been circulating video & video stills of the suspect online trying to get an ID.  Starting Friday, they'll take that footage to the streets on tablets.
