That's how much we're saving when it comes to paid duty police officers, working city related contracts.

A report containing that information will be presented to Toronto's Public Works and Infrastructure Committee.

City Council had previously loosened the rules for Paid Duty Officers, which has equaled a savings.

Police say the officers are currently deployed on a request basis.
