The former Oshawa Councillor accused of kidnapping a city solicitor and getting into a 27-hour standoff with police back in mid-October is going to be facing more charges.

45-year-old Robert Lutchik is facing 20 additional charges - mostly weapons and explosive related - after Durham police searched his house.

Lutcyzk was originally facing 6 charges - including kidnapping and forcible confinement.
