Toronto police are investigating a shooting and a hit and run - both happened near Bathurst and College overnight.

Just before 1 a.m, closer to Lippincott St, a man was shot. He is now in critical condition in  hospital.

There is no information on the suspects.

A few hours later at about 4 a.m., there was a hit and run involving a taxi that police are now looking for.

There is no update on the condition of the pedestrian.
