I am going to respond only basing on Africa a continent I was born in. I know Africa as a back of my hand for I have travelled most of it. And I assure you that there is no single country in Africa that was created to depend on Western countries and donations. But I have travelled this massive land so well that I know it than some Canadians for unlike those that want me to pack and leave it is my country and I had to know what it is. This is a poor country and very tough to live in, I have seen senior citizens waking up at 4 in the morning in middle of winter to go and work for their retirement is simply not paying the bills. But I have seen 3 months old babies ferried out of an apartment at 4 am for they have to be at a baby sitter’s home, so that the mother goes to school or to work or the bills will not be paid. You do not enjoy being a child let alone being old for society will abandon you and you will honestly die. African countries by far and large have a fertile land, a year with each day with all season weather, rivers with fresh waters going 24 7. Ken I have never seen an African planting a Papaya tree, birds eat it and shit the seeds and a tree grows up. That is why there are no Papaya farms in Africa for they grow all over the place. Please explain to me why a Canadian poor as he is, gets a single dollar to donate to this continent? And you are donating it to what end? In all years that you have donated it, can you show me one country that has changed for better? And I need only one. Yea I know girls in Afghanistan go to school !!!!!!!

When I post a writing as I did and you define it as a writing from a man hating Canada, it makes me wonder why I do not join those that see donating to Africa as a profession, for trust me the way I know the continent had I stood up and stated how we have that very serious need for food and money, you would have cut me a check of 10,000 as a true Canadian. But I see the larger danger into turning society into a bunch of beggars and I go after that. If you want to eat, work. And some of us will try so hard to reveal this part of explanation, as you Canadians go after us for you know the situation better through Globe and Mail and CBC. A people with not only money to donate but can buy me a ticket back too. You know, I think I should send an Email to Jerry Agar so that we start a fund raiser for those poor African kids. With this mentality I can see 200,00 dollars coming in and very fast just through CFRB.
