The man accused in a home invasion and dual sex assault near Avenue Road and Lawrence is staying behind bars for awhile yet.

20 year old Alaa Hejazi booked a return date for next week though his bail hearing could be a ways off.

Outside the court, Hejazi's lawyer said they would make the call next Thursday, whether or not they would apply for bail. After that, a hearing could be held 2 weeks after that.

His lawyer suggested, the bail hearing would be in a special court because it would likely take all day.

Hejazi is facing 11 charges including two counts sexual assault with a weapon, along with charges of break and enter and threatening death.

He turned himself into Police at 12 Division overnight on Tuesday.

The alleged incidents happened on Monday morning.
