NHL, players to meet Monday
So much for that 2 week cooling off period.
The NHL& NHL Players' Association have penciled in a meeting in New York City on Monday, according to deputy commissioner Bill Daly.
The possibility of taking a break from negotiations was kicked around late this week, but it doesn't look like that will happen.
The 2 sides are still split on 3 key issues: the division of money, player contract rights & who will pay for the damage inflicted by the lockout.
Games have been cancelled through November 30th & the Winter Classic was been wiped from the schedule.
