9-year-old boy's throat slashed

In St. Thomas, a 9-year-old boy is in hospital after his throat was slashed.

Police found the boy bleeding from a large cut across his neck in a house Saturday night.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder.

Police say the victim & accused know each other but haven't explained how.

The boy has gone through surgery & is now in stable condition in hospital.

    And of course, the 17-year-old thug can't be named in this situation, because this country is filled with gutless, spineless, and shameful jugdes and so-called Childrens' Rights Activits who allow criminals to hide behind the Youth Criminal Justice Act. An Act with so many holes in it that even Swiss Cheese can't compete.

    Well put Barb ... Our justice system needs to change the laws on how or what crime is committed .... That is wrong or this is wrong!!! What is happening to the kids in today's society??

      @Michelle i'll tell yeah whats wrong with our kids these days. US. im sick of people blaming the kids they are just as much victims as the boy who was attacked. our parents care to much about money and narcasism. not to mension to many of these kids are growing up without a father, it is really no surprise to me that our youth are so quick to turn to violence.
