They had until 5pm Friday to throw their hats into the ring. And now the final list is set for the race to replace Dalton McGuinty. Seven current and former MPPs are vying for not only the Liberal's but the province's top job.

Mississauga-Erindale MPP Harinder Takhar, Don Valley West MPP Kathleen Wynne, Toronto Centre MPP Glen Murray, MIssissauga-South MPP Charles Sousa, St. Paul's MPP Dr. Eric Hoskins, former Economic Development Minister Sandra Pupatello and former provincial Education Minister and MP Gerard Kennedy have either already official launched their campaigns or are about to do so.

Now that the list has shaped up, opposition parties are coming out swinging.

Showing all liberal leadership candidates morphing into Dalton McGuinty, the latest Tory attack ad stresses how closely tied the contenders are to the premier. PC MPP Rod Jackson says birds of a feather flock together.
