Grey Cup Saturday events / closures
While the 100th Grey Cup game is on Sunday night, the festival is in high gear all weekend long.
Here is a list of events on Saturday:
Calgary Pancake Breakfast
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Nathan Phillips Square
Join us at the mbna Adrenaline Zone for the Calgary Pancake Breakfast! This Grey Cup tradition will be a great way to energize yourself before hitting The Toronto Sun Zipline and trying your agility on the Gridiron. This warm breakfast is always a Grey Cup favourite and best of all it’s FREE!
Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building Halls D&E
Don't miss the opportunity to see all 8 CFL cheer teams showcase their special 100th Grey Cup routines. Cheer teams will be selling calendars and signing autographs throughout the show. Fans can expect special guest appearances from the Argos Alumni Cheerleaders (1970-2011) and many more. You are not going to want to miss these special performances!
Double Blue Bash
2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Metro Toronto Convention Centre - South Building Halls D & E
Come celebrate 100 years of CFL & Double Blue Argos football with live karaoke, fun entertainment and specials guests including, players, alumni, cheerleaders and much more! This is an all ages event. This is a FREE event!
Telus Street Festival
Live concerts, team parties, food, beer tents and overall revelry will be in full swing on Front St. from Simcoe to John and north to King St. With a mix of ticketed and free to the public events, fans old and new will indulge in an outdoor ribfest and the largest tailgate party, presented by Frank’s RedHot, ever to be staged!

The road closures are in stages:
Full closure: Friday, November 23, 2012, at 7 p.m. to Monday, November 26, 2012, at 5 a.m.
- Front Street West, University Avenue to John Street
- John Street, Wellington Street West to Front Street West
- Simcoe Street, Wellington Street West to Station Street
Partial closure: Friday, November 23, 2012, at 7 p.m. to Monday, November 26, 2012, at 5 a.m.
- Front Street West, John Street to Blue Jays Way (local traffic only)
There will be a rolling lane closure in order to facilitate the CFL Fan March on Sunday, November 25, 2012, starting at 12:30 p.m. The CFL Fan March will start at the University of Toronto Varsity Stadium at Bloor Street West and Devonshire Place.
The parade will travel eastbound on Bloor Street West and then turn to southbound Yonge Street. The parade will continue southbound on Yonge Street until Queen Street West where it will turn westbound. The parade will continue westbound on Queen Street West until York Street where it will turn southbound. The parade will continue southbound on York Street until King Street where it will turn westbound. The parade will continue westbound on King Street West until University Avenue where it will turn southbound. The parade will continue southbound on University Avenue arriving at Front Street West and the entrance to the Front Street West Street Festival.
The public is strongly encouraged to take the TTC.
