The Premier was cautious in responding to the Rob Ford court decision.

While Dalton McGuinty would admit he was surprised when he heard the news, he dodged a list of questions regarding the matter. McGuinty even quoted former Tory Premier Bill Davis in saying "the province need not have an opinion on everything."

He underlined it's time for everyone to respect the process and continue to give support to Toronto and city council. McGuinty didn't seem worried that this will affect the province's relationship with city hall, underlining the two levels of government will continue to work together.

As for how the people of Toronto will move forward, he says they have always handled challenges in stride.
