While the Toronto Argos Grey Cup win was lost on Monday, in a sea of news about Rob Ford's conflict of interest case, the team took centre stage on Tuesday.

Thousands of football fans filled downtown streets to cheer on the CFL champion Argonauts as they made their way from Wellington and Yonge, west to Bay and then up Bay Street to Nathan Phillips Square.

That's where Mayor Rob Ford  read a proclamation making today, Toronto Argonauts Day.
