A 63-year-old man is dead after crashing his SUV in Mississauga Sunday.

OPP say the man exited the eastbound 401 at Winston Churchill Blvd around 3:40pm, but didn't negotiate the curve & hit an embankment.

No one else was in the car.

Police aren't releasing the man's name until his next of kin have been notified.

The ramp is expected to stay closed for several hours as police investigate.
