NRA Prepared to Offer Meaningful Contributions
It looks like the National Rifle Association in the US is ready for change.
They will hold a press conference in Washington on Friday, where they will announce what sort of changes the gun group is willing to make in the wake of a shooting massacre in Newtown, Connecticut.
The shooting killed 27 people, including 20 children.
In a release, the group said: "the NRA is prepared to offer meaningful contributions to help make sure this never happens again."
They wouldn't give any details into what might happen at that press conference.
The NRA has been a very vocal pro-gun group in the past with movie stars like Charlton Heston standing up and proclaiming that to have his gun, you'd have to pry it 'from my cold dead hands'. That speech was made shortly after the Columbine school shooting.
