Ornge is out with a new whistleblower policy it says will "promote integrity" at the troubled air ambulance service.

Interim President Ron McKerlie wants employees to feel free to report any concerns, without fear of reprisal.

Accounting & business advisory firm Grant Thornton LLP has been appointed as the Independent Ethics Officer to oversee the policy.

Employees can confidentially make reports to the firm, which will investigate & determine if further steps are warranted.
