An unmarked cruiser carrying Sergeant Kelly Bachoo & Constable Andy Pattenden collided with a pickup in East Gwillimbury Thursday afternoon. The crash on Mt Albert Rd near Kennedy Rd was the 2nd serious crash on the stretch of roadway that day. The cops were airlifted to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The truck driver wasn't badly hurt. The SIU is reportedly investigating. Meanwhile, York Regional Police are still trying to figure out what caused another smash up on Mt Albert Rd a few hours earlier. At least 1 person is clinging to life after the crash near Hwy 48 around 1pm.
