Tackling the 'Holiday Let Down'
Now that the family is gone and so are the leftovers, it's normal to feel a bit of a holiday let down.
Clinical psychologist Dr. Oren Amitay tells Newstalk 1010 some people don't talk about it because they just think the feeling is part of the winter blues.
But Amitay says it could be that all of the things you had been looking forward to around Christmas are done with and you just don't have anything to look forward to.
Amitay recommends scheduling something with friends on New Year's Eve or mid-January to have a smaller event to look forward to. He says it will help wean you off of the holiday high.
He says this will give you time to relax a few days after Christmas.
