Poliec have released the name of the victim in Toronto's first homicide of the year.

22-year-old O'Marie Brooks was stabbed to death outside of a sports bar on Keele St early Tuesday morning.

29-year-old Nicholas Silvera has surrendered to police.

Silvera has been charged with second degree murder.
