A woman in her mid thirties has been taken to hospital after she was struck by a vehicle early Wednesday evening.

Paramedics say it happened at the corner of Jones and Gerrard around 5 p.m.

Officials say the woman suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

It's not clear if any charges will be laid.
