Former PM calls Attawapiskat Chief ''an inspiration''

Posted By: Newstalk 1010 · 1/6/2013 4:15:00 PM

Former Prime Minister Paul Martin says Chief Theresa Spence is an inspiration to all Canadians.

Martin met with Spence at her camp on Ottawa's Victoria Island Saturday.

Martin told CTV's Question Period Sunday it was a good meeting & that he told Spence people are concerned about her health.  The Attawapiskat Chief has gone without solid food for close to a month.

She's trying to lock down a meeting between First Nations leaders, Prime Minister Stephen Harper & d the Governor General to discuss the treaty relationship.

Friday, Harper agreed to meet with the leaders this week.

But Spence is keeping up her hunger strike at least until the meeting takes place.

Excuse me Mr Dithers. I just saw you on TV speaking for "all" Canadians. You don't speak for me and you never did. You are a chronic liar and a user. BTW, is Bono still calling you for the money you promised ?? And how are your RED Book promises coming along. Please Mr. Martin. Go back to running your shipping company. You know, the one with are the foreign workers.

    Wow:
Paul Martin really hit the nail on the head. It would seem that he sees a kindred spirit in Chief Spence, as according to Sun Media reports, she is coming under increasing scrutiny which is not going to be flattering. In the past it was alleged that Paul Martin reputedly had moved most of his financial assets into offshore tax havens. Are these allegations true? If so, why as a loyal tax paying Canadian would he do that?

And this is why the Liberals are no longer in power!! What a joke!

The reason "Chief Spence" is doing this is because this government has called them on their bookkeeping skills! To "Chief Spence" I say = show us the money!!! If there is nothing to hide, there is not a problem. Apparently they feel extortion is an acceptable method of negotiation. Nice going Martin!

What a joke and an insult, that Martin thinks his opinion matters, and the attempt to spin us the way he did as the Liberal Finance Minister. Apparently nothing is sacred in Canada anymore ... except maybe the rights of First Nations people, while the rest of us are being "punked" through this extortion & cover up tactic. Even though Martin and the Chief are still trying to pull the wool over our eyes, they can't. We are not the sheeple they think we are. Bah!

Martin claims she's an inspiration to all Canadians. Let's see, she received $ 90 Million towards her community, they're still living in squalor, she mismanaged the money received. What possible Canadians could paul martin be referring to? Perhaps the "useful idiots" that Lenin so famously referred to.

Did you expect him to say anything else? Bank robbers usually stick together. Martin and his band of fleecing, socialist Liberals dug a huge hole for working Canadians with their spend, spend, spend mentality - while he was simultaneously registering his ships elsewhere to avoid paying taxes to the country he led. Even Hitler kept his assets domestically! Martin was trained by the biggest socialist and spender of them all - Trudeau Sr. Let's elect Trudeau lite and take this country to its knees. Then where will Ms Spence get her hundreds of millions in swanderable cash? The Chinese? I'm thinking they won't tolerate that crap for long.

@Ken Someone send that woman an email from Harper "Nah, I'm all in at 8 billion per year, there just isn't any more money to give."
