A boy is being rushed to a trauma centre after he was hit by a bus.

The accident happened near Dufferin St and Lawrence Ave late this afternoon.

Paramedics tell Newstalk 1010 the boy is in his mid-teens. His injuries are serious but not life threatening.

He is being taken to Sick Kids hospital.
