NHL players have until 8 am ET to vote on the tentative deal
to end the lockout.
   
Results of the electronic voting are due to be announced by
tonight.
   
The agreement was ratified by the team owners three days ago.
   
Players are expected to accept the deal, but the league won't
be officially open for business until a memorandum of
understanding is also signed. Sports pundits seem to expect
that to happen sometime today.
