The NDP is willing to work with the new Liberal Premier - whoever that may be.

But Leader Andrea Horwath stresses that can happen without a structure like a coalition government.

She didn't knock down the idea, however.

Horwath underlines she's prepared to work for the things residents need and want the most.

As for who she would prefer to work with out of all the Liberal leadership candidates, Horwath says it's not her place to have a favourite and she'll try her best to work with whoever is elected.

She joked if she could work with Premier Dalton McGuinty and Finance Minister Dwight Duncan to pass last year's budget, she can work with anyone.
