Mark Trestman Signs With Chicago of the NFL
Montreal Alouettes head coach Mark Trestman is heading back to the NFL.
He's signed on as the newest head coach of the Chicago Bears.
Trestman has been with the Alouettes since 2008, leading the team to 3 different Grey Cup appearances, and twice winning the championship.
He's had previous stints in the NFL, including a job with the San Francisco 49ers, when he was the offensive co-ordinator, working with quarterback Steve Young.
Trestman will replace Lovie Smith, who was fired after nine seasons. His teams failed to make the playoffs in five of the last 6 seasons.
