David Nonis made his first personnel move as General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs Wednesday.

He traded forward Matthew Lombardi to the Phoenix Coyotes for a 3rd or 4th round pick in the 2014 entry draft.

Lombardi played 62 games for the Buds last season scoring 18 points including 8 goals.

The Leafs originally acquired Lombardi along with Cody Franson for a couple of minor league players in the summer of 2011.
