He wowed them from space.

While on board the International Space Station, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Chris Hadfield answered questions from students at a public school named after him, on Thursday morning.

Over 800 kindergarten to grade 8 students at Chris Hadfield Public School in Milton gathered in the school's gymn to see and hear Hadfield.
 
At one point he even played his guitar for the students.

Hadfield and his team went into space December 19, blasting off from Kazakhstan.

The 53-year-old astronaut was born in Sarnia but raised in Milton.

CSA Astronaut Jeremy Hansen was also on hand for the video chat with the students.
